La Latina is a traditional neighborhood in constant change and still retains the charm of the most typical streets of Madrid. In the area, very near the Plaza Mayor and Royal Palace, there are plenty of bars and restaurants, shops as diverse and focuses more active life of leisure in the city. It is also the neighborhood of El Rastro, the famous flea market, which is assembled every Sunday and holidays around the Plaza de Cascorro. Other nearby attractions include the Church of San Francisco, Plaza de la Paja, the viewpoint of The Vistillas, etc. Its location is ideal to visit on foot all the main attractions of the historic center. Through the Toledo Street you can reach the Plaza Mayor and the Puerta del Sol, walking some few minutes minutes from the apartment. Metro station of La Latina 2 minutes from the apartment.

As for the gastronomy, in the neigborhood there are lots of traditional restaurants as Botin, Casa Lucio, Casa Julian de Tolosa, and many bars, nightclubs and discos.

The Apartment

Curtiz's Apartment is on the first floor by stairs of an old building very well restored. It is very special, with a double height living room with two windows overlooking the Almendro street from which to enjoy life in Madrid. In this space there are two areas separated by a library. On the interior side there’s a double bed and in the other a double sofa bed and a table for four. The apartment is equipped with wardrobes, with a small hallway that functions as a distributor between the living room and a large and very complete kitchen and a bathroom.
